What if I just want photos without the words, or vice versa?
We enjoy working together – that’s one of the reasons we started our business. But we’re quite happy to provide you with just the words, or just the photos, if that’s what you’re looking for!
I’ve just created my own small business, and I’d really like to get some publicity for it without having to pay high advertising rates. Can you help me get the news out there?
Yes. We’re very experienced at writing press releases and placing them. We can draft and circulate a press release for you, along with photographs for illustration, all for a flat fee.
I need a logo for my new company. Can you help me?
We are not a design agency, so cannot offer to brand your business from scratch. However, if you already have your own branding in place, we can incorporate your logo and other branding elements into items such as leaflets, flyers or a new website. We can provide the copy you need, illustrate with photography as required, design print-ready documents and even send them to the printers for you – all at very competitive rates.
Where are you based, and how far afield are you prepared to work?
We are based in Hexham in Northumberland, though we are happy to travel outside the north-east of England for more major commissions (subject to travel expenses). If your project involves writing only, without any photography, and does not require us to be on the spot, we can, of course, forward material to you by e-mail or other electronic means. In that case it doesn’t matter where you are, we’ll be happy to work with you!
I have a difficult letter to write to one of my clients. I’m not that confident with the written word or my ability to get my point across clearly. Could you help me draft my letter?
That’s exactly the sort of thing we’re here for. We will be happy to discuss the problem and the message you wish to convey, then draft a letter for you.
I’m happy to do my own writing, but I would like someone to check it over for me. Can you do that?
Yes, we can provide different levels of text and document checking for you. We can offer a proofreading service – a final check to ensure that no stray spelling mistakes or punctuation errors have crept into your text. We can also provide a more comprehensive copy-editing service, which checks for such things as good grammar, and consistency of tone, style, headings and layout.
